Camp Jubilee is committed to providing the highest quality of programs and camps. We therefore hire staff members who bring with them a high commitment to customer service and are excellent role models.
Camp Jubilee staff are committed to ensuring a safe, enjoyable and rewarding experience for our guests. Staff members must have a strong desire to work with children and youth (and adults) and exhibit a professional, cooperative and motivated team approach. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn is also expected.
All camp staff must have or be willing to obtain a minimum of Standard First Aid/CPR-C First Aid training. Staff members getting new certification may also want to consider Wilderness First Aid training. In addition, Camp Jubilee provides staff with a comprehensive orientation and training program (paid) prior to the start of employment. Additional training that forms a minimum qualification for employment is unpaid. Successful completion of staff training is required for all staff. Staff training is mandatory for both new and returning staff.
Camp Jubilee staff members will participate fully in all areas of camp and meet or exceed camp policies and procedures. In addition, staff members will have a professional, neat and tidy appearance. Staff will approach their work in a supportive manner when working with other staff, campers, parents, guests or visitors.
